Last edited by mazer; at AM. BE Mike. I've been extremely happy with my Lyman DPS 3. It replaces a scale, powder measure and powder trickler. I really like it for loading high pressure rounds, as well as, match ammo. I liked it right away and wished I had popped for it sooner.

I just use it for rifle and dump for pistol. I had an older RCBS Uniflow that threw accurately but it disappeared during a recent move so I bought a new one about a year ago and it isn't on par with the older one I had.

From the videos I've watched and the recommendations on here, I've narrowed it down to a few choices. I apppreciate all the input from the members. Lyman Gen 6. I've only used it with powder to load. The instructions could be a little better but I've had good results with it.

I had to change loading methods from depriming and sizing cases, weighing loads of powder and seating bullets. I now deprime, charge a case and seat the bullet and the powder is ready to fill the next case. Gavin starting to sound like an infomercial pitchman-lol. I use a Lee dipper and trickle — so much less time and money. Much faster and just as accurate as these costly machines. While this machine is terrific, a thousand bucks is quite extreme.

While the next charge is being weighed out, I currently seat a bullet, check concentricity and box the previous round, so for me no time savings.
