Gluten-Safe products are products that do not contain gluten ingredients, and for which we have not received any credible complaints of gluten-contamination. While not officially labeled "Gluten-Free," Gluten-Safe products are very unlikely to contain gluten, and are likely safe for people with celiac disease on a gluten-free diet. We consider gluten-safe products to be gluten-free unless shown otherwise.

Gluten content can almost always be determined from the label, and the most accurate information can be found by checking the ingredient list on our packages. For labeling purposes, Kraft products list all sources of gluten, including gluten-containing grains wheat, barley, rye, oats, triticale, spelt, kamut, mir, farina and other ingredients e.

Kraft has a rigorous protocol to ensure that products bearing a gluten-free claim meet the FDA requirement less than 20ppm gluten. However, you should know that we do not guarantee that our products are gluten-free because we sometimes purchase flavoring, color or spice ingredients from suppliers who do not list every possible source of gluten beyond what is required by law.

That said, please do read ingredients carefully, and check the Kraft Foods website regularly, as ingredients and product formulations can change. The following Jello Pudding products do not contain gluten, and are regarded as gluten-free and safe for people with celiac disease:. Posted July 1, I recently called Kraft and asked about the safety of their instant pudding and jello products and was told that if I had celiac disease they were not safe for me. Kraft has a policy of just disclosing ingredients and will not, for legal reasons, guarantee that their products are gluten free they do not test.

But jello is safe. If you are still worried, consider a homemade version. You have to cook it on the stove top though. It is so, good and worth the stirring constantly! Vickie, any food item containing wheat, barely or rye in any form should be off limits to those endeavoring to eat gluten-free. This would include things found in ingredient labels such as "starch" and "modified food starch" unless the source source is specifically stated to be not from wheat, barley or rye.

Also included would be things like "malt flavoring" and "malt extract" since malt is made from either barley or wheat.

Wheat starch is commonly used as a thickener and texturing agent. Because of that, most canned soups and even most soy sauces contain wheat. Be a dedicated food label reader. It is gluten-free if it doesn't list "wheat.

Posted August 12, edited. It DOES contain wheat. I would be worried about their other mixes being cross contaminated. I assume not verified that Kraft would use the same manufacturing line. So, what to do? Be like me and make your own pudding from scratch. I use gluten free labeled corn starch. You have to cook the pudding on the stove. Stirring constantly and then allowing it to boil for two minutes.

The goal is to not let anything stick to the bottom of the pot. You can find plenty of recipes on the internet. Cheap too. My kid just made some yesterday morning. Her boyfriend was amazed at the taste. I am always in search of new ways to hit that combo. Yes, combo. I always embarrass them. Mm, when I think of pudding, I think of that softly-melting sensation on my palate. They always ask for more. Is it healthy? Are there types of pudding that are healthier than others?

And finally, is pudding gluten-free? Wow, this simple dessert keeps finding new ways to rock my world. When it comes to Kraft products, they follow their amazing, easy-to-use gluten-free policy. They are really careful about making their products gluten-free through every stage of the production process. Also, we can rely on listing any ingredients that contain gluten. It is very helpful.

I find it useful when I am shopping. To make the product more visually appealing and more flavorsome, they add some food-coloring elements to the original ingredients. Some of these manufacturers make different products.

Sometimes, some leftovers from other products stay in the parts of the machines. During the production process, they sometimes get mixed with other products. So, traces of wheat, rye, or barley can sneak into your gluten-free pudding. All of the different types of pudding are available in your gluten-free diet. But it matters what the brand is. There are different ways of production and different ingredients that each brand uses.

Be careful when you are food shopping. Always read the label carefully, always check the ingredients list. Or you could contact the manufacturer itself. Sometimes, those list ingredients are so long, but usually, manufacturers simplify it for us. They point out special terms on their packaging. Take your gluten free vanilla pudding off of the heat, and stir in a pat of butter. It will quickly melt, so stir it continuously until it has melted so you don't have pools of butter in your gluten free pudding.

To more quickly cool your gluten free pudding to an eatable temperature, pour it into a wide dish, like a casserole dish or baking pan. If desired, you can gently press some plastic wrap on the pudding to prevent it from forming a skin. Some people who get an upset tummy after drinking milk assume that they are lactose intolerant. If you haven't been medically tested for lactose intolerance, it is possible that is isn't the lactose causing your tummy problems, but another protein.

Some people have trouble digesting the A1 protein, which is found in ordinary cow's milk. I had heard before that cow's milk is harder to digest, but didn't know why. Cows are the only mammals that produce A1 in their milk. All other mammals, including humans, produce A2 only milk. Learning this made so many things make sense.

There were a few years when my family drank goat milk growing up. It was easier to digest, but I wasn't a huge fan of the taste.

My husband and I tried A2 Milk for about a week to see if it worked for us. I don't have any tummy problems with milk, but my husband definitely does.

He didn't have as much discomfort with A2 milk, but we still think he is lactose intolerant. To me, A2 Milk tasted just like normal cow milk, and worked the same in all the recipes I tried it in. I used butter in this recipe, to make my gluten free pudding even more luxurious. Butter doesn't have A1 proteins in it because it is just the milk fat.
